Coleman 2-Burner Electronic Ignition Propane Grill Stove

I spent several hours researching, and finally choose this particular coleman stove over many others. There were other brands on store shelf I was able to check out, but for the look and feel -- Coleman's product felt much more sturdily built. There were many designs to choose, but I wanted to grill as well as have a burner to stove top cook, so this was a great choice for me.

I tried it out on a day trip, and because of all the reviews I read I kept the flame on low like mose users said to. It worked like a charm. The park was packed full of day users that I had to settle on a patch of grass close to the parking lot, but oh well. The stove was easy to set up. It took me about 5 minutes. I tried the igniter first, but was really unsure whether I was doing it right or not, so I tried to ignite it with a piece of burning paper, which worked but defeats the purpose of the igniter. I didn't realize it but I had covered the grill portion's igniter with the aluminum foil ... duh!! Needless to say, I tried again with the igniter the second go around and voila!

My suggestion: Start it on low. Don't be in a hurry. I had 2 hamburgers, 4 hotdogs, and a 3 vegetable kabobs on the grill side (bean on the burner side) all on low. Nothing was burnt. Nothing stuck to the grill! Food was done faster than the people next to me who 1) didn't get to eat because it started to rain 2) had to redo their charcoal grill...while my daughter and I were safely esconced in our car chomping away happily while it rained.

(By the way, I also order the griddle for this stove...can't wait to try it out next weekend on our overnighter!!).

I love the stove so much, that once we got home I used it on our porch to finish cooking the leftover food!
