... I was about to go with a larger, more extensive and expensive kit, but, to get free shipping, I went with this one and was pleasantly surprised. It's light, much smaller than I thought and reasonably well-equipped. It's perfect for backpacking and I got the chance to use it before my trek back to civilization.
My only qualm is that I wish it were more compartmentalized, as there're only two pockets and things tend to get lost.
All in all, it's an excellent kit for backpacking. ...
